It’s that time again, and I LOVE IT. Whenever our beloved BHLDN drops a new line, I spend hours ogling it and dreaming of beautiful brides twirling in their gowns … and this line is no exception. Especially with the twirl factor. The dresses are so fluffy and flowy that given my druthers, I’d never, ever stop twirling. Ever. Inspired by fairytales but realistically affordable, the “Twice Enchanted” line is full of sparkle, tulle and general gorgeousness. And, as per usual when a new line drops, I found my five faves for under $1000 to share with you, BABs. Of course a few are considered “bridesmaid” dresses, but with gowns this pretty, why shouldn’t they be center stage (and save you a few bucks in the meantime)?
OMG. The sparklez. This sequined Donna Morgan dress caught my eye immediately (because, #duh). For a bride who isn’t afraid of standing out in a stunning way, this dress is totes ideal. And uh, helloooo $290 price tag!Wesley Gown, $990
Wesley kind of reminds me of Wisteria a bit, which I loved. Wesley, by Needle & Thread, has delicate pearl beading and super frothy tulle. I totally dig the latticework of the beading.
Rose Dress, $300
Silvery, shimmery and way affordable, Rose — by Donna Morgan — features barely-there lace and a draped and twisted sweetheart bust. I could see Rose gracing a backyard wedding or an understated garden party, where you can spend the night floating around with ease.
Made by Tadashi Soji, Rosemary features applique fabric feathers along the bodice that give way to a super flowy ivory tulle skirt. I totes dig the daring plunging neckline, too.
OK, guys. THIS is the twirl dress. Can you imagine?!? Those layers of fluffy tulle just floating around you as you twirl and twirl and twirl. *sigh* Also, I’m a sucker for illusion necklines, and this Donna Morgan pretty is no exception.
I couldn’t, in good conscience, include Hannah in the Under-$1000 portion, but she’s too good to not include at all. The geometric gem beading, paneled cutouts and just all around intriguing shape are perfect for the bride who wants just a little more sumthin’ sumthin. Ya dig?
