Pearls are steadfast in Weddingland: They tend to be heirlooms passed down from generation to generation, they easily complement nearly any wedding gown and they come in a variety of shades (y’all, I wore turquoise ones for my wedding). There are so many options for classic pearl looks out there, but recently more fun, funky options have been popping up … and some of them are hella affordable. Here are some of my five favorite new ways to wear pearls on your wedding day:

Pearl Ear Jackets, $28 at Humble Chic

I was a little up in the air about ear jackets, but they’ve really grown on me. And I love these, because they totally combine the classic pearl-and-diamond look with a completely modern, right-now design.

One-Sided Pearl Cuff, $34 at BaubleBar

Oh, I see some legit arm stacks in this bracelet’s future.

Double Pearl Studs, $24 at Humble Chic

Humble Chic recently sent this v. lucky girl a pair of these. Admittedly, it took me a minute (big ball in the back? Front?), but after a little Google-fu — this design is based off a Dior look, so it was pretty easy to find — I figured it out and proceeded to get a holy butt-ton of compliments. These pretty pearls are totes going in the rotation.

Gabrielle Pearl Necklace, $69 at Stella & Dot

If there is one thing every Broke-Ass Bride should have in her arsenal, it’s a very versatile necklace. This multi-stranded pearl piece can be twisted, twirled and layered to create a ton of different looks, all at one easy price. Talk about a great ROI.Screen Shot 2015-03-06 at 10.46.16 AM

Pearl Trio Ring, $34 at Humble Chic

Like the ear jackets above, this adorable ring combines the classic combo of pearls and diamonds with a totally unique, modern design. I’m a sucker for rings, and could totally see myself wearing this pretty on the regs or adding a fun, funky twist to an otherwise classic wedding look.

Which of these pretty pearl accessories is your favorite, BABs? Are you wearing pearls on your wedding day?
