Today’s CAI/GOI request is for a traditional bridal look with a little pizazz! Reader Michele wrote in on this post asking us to help her find an under $500 version of Roz la Kelin’s “Tiffanie” from the “Glamour Plus Collection.” The satin “Tiffanie” ballgown features an A-line silhouette with built-in corset and an embroidered and beaded bodice. The delicate cap sleeves, front pleating and side hip accent all make for a super figure-flattering gown.
In my hunt for similar designs, I searched for satin ballgowns with a beaded/embroidered/otherwise interesting bodice. Some feature cap sleeves and many have fun pleating that hits in all the right places. Like the “Glamour Plus Collection,” I also selected gowns that are available in size 12 or above. Let’s check them out!
And this one is a wee bit over budget …
Those are some beautiful satin gowns, Michele. What do you think? Many of those listed above can also be found in smaller sizes if needed. I know that last pick from David’s Bridal is a bit over budget, but the pleating on that gown is killer! Let us know what you think in the comments. Good luck with your search and, as always, happy shopping!
