Welcome back CAI/GOI lovers!  Today’s request is from reader Terri, who commented on this post:

Hi! I landed on this page while searching Amsale-inspired dresses! I’m in love with the Amsale-inspired May, specifically the minimalistic style and elegant sheer look and buttons on the back, and am hoping to find an alternative for under $1000! Please help!!

Hi Terri! We are happy to see more Amsale dresses on CAI/GOI, as they are all beautiful! This dress has an illusion tank neckline, a full length button back and a slim fit-to-flare silhouette. I’ll try to focus this search on minimalist slim-fit-to-flare or sheath styles with the higher neckline, and hope for some button or other details to add a little something special. Remember, if you find a strapless gown you love, you can talk with your seamstress about altering to add an illusion top. Here we go!
