Hello BABs! You’ve been keeping us on our toes with lots of requests and comments – and we love it, so keep ’em coming! And if you’re a BAB that we were able to help Get Over It, we’d love to hear your story and know what you picked! (Pics are fun, too!)

This week’s request is from Mattie, who says she’s obsessed with the Romona Keveza ballgown below – and I can’t say I blame her! With its classic ballgown silhouette, off-shoulder neckline, soft diagonal gathering, and pale blush hue, it’s got swag-ger! (Oh hey, I’m punny!) But at over $8,000 it’s not quite a match for Mattie’s budget of under $2,000, so the search is on!

Lisa’s Bonus Pro Tip: Determine which 2-3 factors are the most important to you in your gown search, and prioritize using those. For our BAB readers, price is likely to be in the top 3. Decide if the silhouette, color, fabric, neckline, or other details make the other top 2, and use them to narrow your search. For this inspiration gown, I looked for ball gowns with off the shoulder detailing and some diagonal draping under $1,500, but you could swap out the ruching for organza fabric or the blush color and come up with a different list.

What do you think, Mattie? Will any of these help to curb your obsession? Let us know how your search goes!

Got a gown that you just can’t get off your mind? We’re happy to help you get over it! Just tell us in the comments below! Please remember to include the budget you’re working with so we can find you the best alternative for you.

*As always, please do your own research before buying a gown online. Team Broke-Ass is here to provide you with inspiration and resources, but it is up to the consumer to know what they’re purchasing.
