Yes, all eyes will be on the bride, but it’s a special day for Mom, too. And since the days of the frumpy MOB dress are long gone, here are some reasonably priced and lovely dresses for our darling mamas.

Having found the dress I want, I'm turning my attention over to finding my mom a great MOB dress. I need help! She's a plus size lady (in the 3X realm; not sure of her dress size), and virtually everything I'm finding is that same bolero-and-boring-dress silhouette that's very "MOB". Worse; I don't know enough about plus sizes to even know where to start! (So many plus size models look like they're about size 8s, so it's hard to picture what these other outfits might look like on my mom.)
More plus-size friendly MOB dresses would be awesome! So many of them are very frumpy! The few good ones tend to be 200-300 dollars, too
Oh gosh, the very first dress in black is super amazing! But I think, what would suit my mom well is this one by JS Boutique.
My mom actually had the problem of finding something complimenting for her slim frame – she's skinnier than me and very athletic. All the "normal" MOB dresses were too stiff, boring, or uncomfortable for her. She especially didn't want anything with a frilly collar or sleeves. She eventually just got a floral summer dress … it wasn't my favorite because I thought the pattern would stick out too much in pictures. But she liked it, so what are ya gonna do?
Turns out it wasn't too bad in the pictures in the end.

I've had some luck finding stuff to my mom's liking at Shabby Apple. I don't think that they have plus sizes, though. If your mom is up for spending a little more $, Lynn Lugo's dresses are entirely custom.
