Calligraphy is very difficult to do and usually left to the artist of the world. You can have save the dates, invitations, and thank you cards custom designed on a budget. They can be designed with any type of fancy and swirly calligraphy you would like and printed and mailed for any budget. To save even more money, you can have your save the dates custom designed as a pdf and emailed to most people on your guest list.
