{Can’t Afford It/Get Over It} Ethereal, Vera Wang-esque Gowns With Sheer V-Neck Straps
Today’s CAI/GOI goddess is in the market for one of those Vera Wang stunners with sheer straps and an effortless ethereal glow. Personally, I prefer calling my sheer straps “Illusion necklines”. Much spookier. And far more Halloween appropriate. But that’s beside the point. Let’s get to the gowns. I found bride Sue a host of gowns that may help her get over her Wang obsession. I’m starting my hunt for a wedding dress and would love to find a more affordable version of one of these gorgeous Vera Wang gowns with sheer v-neck straps. The ethereal, flowy design is perfect for my summer wedding and I love the v-neck as it offers a bit more support for that most important day! However, the $3,000+ price tag for these gowns is close to a third of my total wedding budget, so I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions for similar dresses under $750.

I also really love the the satin organza gown with illusion piece from Vera Wang for David's bridal (http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Satin-Faced-Organza-Gown-with-Illusion-Piece-VW351023_Bridal-Gowns-Shop-By-Designer-White-by-Vera-Wang) but I hate the skirt–it's so poufy I couldn't find my feet under it. Are there any other illusion piece dresses out there? My searches have turned up nothing
