Broke-Ass TV ep.7: Bad-ass Bathroom Baskets
Bathroom baskets at events have saved my ass more times than I can count. Whether its band-aids on my blistered, danced-out feet, aspirin after too many adult beverages, breath mints on a long night of garlicky goodness, static guard when my dress keeps riding up my hose, or bobby pins to save me from a hair nightmare… having a handful of helpful self-care paraphernalia is super thoughtful and helpful in a bind.
And they’re easy to make! Find cheap options, stick ‘em in a basket, and call it a day! Check out our newest episode of Broke-Ass TV giving mad love to the bathroom basket!
They don’t have to be expensive to make, either. Save your hotel freebies all year long, hit up the dollar store and your drugstore’s travel-sized stuff area… and you’re all set!

Are you making “commode convenience containers” for your big day?

I was just at a wedding where we, including the bride, sure could have used a basket in the bathroom. I would love to supply that for my guests but we're sharing our venue with another wedding (it's a big place.) I wonder if the venue will supply one. I'll have to ask. Thanks for the reminder!
This is such a good idea and I have tons of hotel stuff hanging around somewhere in our house. Any recommendations or any other brides that are dealing with an outside venue and "renting bathrooms" I'm planning to get married in the UK on his family's land which of course doesn't even have a bathroom.
GREAT idea, and something I can easily cross off my list after one trip to Walgreens or Target! Also, you two are super cute in these videos!
Great ideas, love the simplicity to this concept. : )
Beautiful Wedding Ideas
We’re doing an outside wedding with porta-pots, and we’re planning to have baskets…on top of an extra chest of drawers we have (will probably dress it up for the wedding) that has a mirror to boot.
We did this at my sister's wedding. Everyone loved it! Hairspray, tampons, bandaids, ibuprofen, Gas-X, Gravol, gum, mints, condoms, bobby-pins, contact solution it was packed!
These are all great ideas… especially because I never thought of doing this before today!

I saw this great wedding toilet paper online for $3.00. I think it goes great with these baskets.
My mom and sister always rave about baskets in the bathroom. Now I understand why! PS- I read about Spirit…just aweful.
