{Can’t Afford It/Get Over It} Lovely, Lacey & Less Than $600

What do you do when the gown you want is too expensive and you can’t find the perfect flower sash to accompany it?  You get over it and piece something cheaper together yourself!  Today I am helping bride Catrina find the perfect lace gown under $600 and the perfect flower sash to round out the look.  Let’s see what she had to say:

I’m dying! I just got engaged a few months ago and I am absolutely in love with this dress! It’s the Enzoani Diana dress. It is just so romantic and beautiful with the lace and sweetheart neckline. I was wondering if you guys would be able to find something similar that is less than $600. Please, please, please!

Woohoo! My dress is the #1 replacement! Kind of bummed– mine was definitely not less than $600 when I bought it, but that was over a year ago. SO COMFY, SO PRETTY! Wore a custom-altered corset to keep the girls up and nip in the waist– the back can be tricky to work with a bra, but definitely doable.

The Eden Bridals dress (number 6) is stunning. Hard to believe these dresses are at such a great price! Love this blog!!!

My dress is #1 too! I was lucky and got it when it was $50 off- so that basically meant tax free! I even found a replacement sash (didn't like the original- too much bling) and got it for free via Powerbrides (facebook for brides- comment, like, answer "buzzes" for bling points which can be used in the store).

that belt is also similar. its kinda of pricey but if u join the website http://www.powerbrides.com (its like facebook only all about weddings) u can earn "bling points" by staying active and get this belt for free if u save up enough points :)

Hi, I love your site. I’ve been looking on in lightinthebox.com for a wedding dress, but I’ve been trying to see if they are legit, have you are anyone ordered from them? Thanks

Question for commenters who bought dress #1 – is that an empire waist, or natural? I'd like to try it on but cant' tell from the photo, and I have a *really * strong preference for natural waistlines on my figure.

Also, FYI for anyone who hasn't checked too recently – David's Bridal has a sale going on until Sept 5 where a lot of dresses have gone *just* under $600, and there's some nice lace stuff, especially if you're willing to consider slightly different necklines or silhouettes.

i had #1 for my wedding, it was about 500 when I got it but that was two years ago and the sleeves needed alteration– They come off very square and had to be angled… But it was BEAUTIFUL. The back of it was just terribly gorgeous, connecting at the top and framing the whole back
