{Can’t Afford It/Get Over It} Flapper-Style Reception Dress

This week’s CAI/GOI request is all about finding a wedding gown you can really shake it in, aka “The Reception Dress”.  Many brides choose a gown that is a bit more elegant (errr, constrictive?) to wear during the ceremony.  But when it comes time to bust a move on the dance floor, many of these elegant ceremony gowns do not allow for maximum bust-age. And coming from a bride who lives to dance, there is no chance in H-E-double hockey sticks that I would let myself be constricted during a dance party entirely dedicated to ME. So when bride Sarah sent me her plea to find help find her a flapper style reception dress, I just knew I had to help a fellow mover n’ shaker out.  Read what she had to say:

    When I started reading this post, #7 and #9 were the first dresses that came to mind for me. I love both these dresses so much. If we were doing 20s rather than 40s, those would be my picks. :D
