{Wedding Inspiration} An Enchanted Garden Wedding
Someone in last week’s comment section threw out a bunch of great ideas for wedding inspiration posts, but my favorite one they suggested was Enchanted Garden. I love the idea of having a wedding in a garden or wooded setting where nature provides plenty of the decor. You just can’t go wrong with a natural backdrop!
I went with earth tones, gold, and some purple to punch up the color! I also love the sweet pea bouquet….it’s so sweet=)
I looooove this dress. It looks like flower petals make up the skirt. Unfortunately, the shoes and dress are out of stock, but the accessories can be found on zappos.com.
If I were having a garden wedding, I might have to have sweet little floral cupcakes…..like these.
And of course if I was having an enchanted garden wedding I would really love to wear the infamous “Sunday Rose” dress from Monique Lhullier.
Bust instead I might end up going with the slightly more affordable version from J. Crew.
Still has the 3-d rosettes….at a fraction of the cost! Score!
As for jewelry, I wouldn’t be able to pass up this sweet little “Oui” I do, necklace from Etsy. And at 30 buckaroos, it won’t break your lil’ piggy bank.
Say “yes” to this sweet little necklace!
As for your guests, I think the perfect gift for a garden wedding is flowers! These wild flower seeds are the bomb-diggity. They are called seed bombs and guests can take them home, throw them in their backyards, and wait for them to grow! The clay ball breaks down naturally and the wild flower seeds inside scatter around and will pop up after a nice rain. They don’t look too pretty, but you can pick up 200 of these puppies for $110! Put them in some flower pots and let guests take them home! They can be found here.
Admittedly, these are not too fun to look out, but they will be gorgeous once they blossom!
Will you be having a theme wedding? What is it? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear all about it!

I think those little wildflower clay balls are a great idea. You are right, they are not all that attractive but with a little help they could be spruced up a bit quite easily. What a great way for your guests to remember the wedding!
Lol, when I first saw the flower balls I thought they were some not so pretty donut holes.
I love this whole post though. We are doing a garden theme so I always love to see new ideas we could mix in. Those cupcakes are just charming!
Those cupcakes look deeevine. Yum

I thought donut holes, too. I must be hungry… The Oui necklace is adorable!
I might have to look into those wild flower favors! I think giving seeds as favors is a great idea
Our theme is Cobalt in an Aspen forest… still working out the details
oh man I COMPLETELY adore the dress that's out of stock! WHAT?! if you find anything like it…let me know.
I love the garden theme inspiration. It is so cute. It has an outdoorsy feel without being 'rustic'. Great job at maintaining an elegant touch to it!
I would love to see an inspiration board for the theme of my wedding: Romantic European. I’ve been to Europe while studying abroad in college and fell in love. So it seems fitting to incorporate it in Andrew and I’s wedding. I’d love to see any ideas!
I'm helping my friend plan her wedding that will be next August. I love the idea of the flower balls and the pine cones, and both would work for my friend's idea vision of a brown and blue wedding, although I'm not sure if pine cones say "winter wedding" too much to use in August. Also, I think that if you wrap the flower bombs in a sheer muslin tied with a ribbon in the wedding colors, you could tie in the brown if you want to, without it looking like a doughnut hole rolled off of a tray on its way to the dessert table.
This is one of my favorite wedding themes, and i looooove that purple dress! AMAZING.
I want the dress in your inspiration board, love it!
What is the dress called? I want to try and find it somehow!
Has anyone found out more about the dress?
Really unique cupcakes, is that fondant on them?
