5 New Ways to Accessorize Your Bridal Look

To me, the best part about wearing an all-white dress is the part where you get to doll it up with fun accessories.  You have a blank canvas that’s just waiting for you to make it pop from head to toe. Past favorites accessories include: statement necklaces, hair flowers, headbands, and boleros.  These accessories are totally still in style, but I thought it was time to introduce some new favorites…

Cute ideas! I love some of those scarves!

  2. Tammy@EventsByTammy

I love the ruffle scarve as an accessory to a wedding dress. It's beautiful!

Um. I can't bare the suggestion that 'broke' has to equal 'hippy'.

Agree with scarves and other neck dealios as being very on trend right now. Also — LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the garter socks. My great-grandfather would be thrilled to know those have come back, LOL. (But they're no longer black and funny-looking…) What a hot idea.

I think a new fad for the guys will be hats. I mean, I haven't really seen it yet, but SOMEBODY'S gotta start it…

Thanks for including my sock garters! Quite a few brides have ordered them which I am very flattered by.

I'm not sure how the "goddess headbands" are appropriate for budget brides, since I live in India and these traditionally worn pieces typically go for quite a sum.

Hey Sharon, while clearly not all goddess headbands are inexpensive, there are plenty of affordable choices, such as the ones above, which are more than appropriate for budget brides. That's the beauty of it :)
