Nice!! Nothing quite so satisfying as noticing the little changes. Success here, too - rocking out in a supercute dress at our housewarming party was a happy achievement at the halfway point in bikram yoga challenge. I actually enjoy doing it everyday so long as it's first thing in the morning. And I've noticed my appetite is significantly lower this week - not craving crap like oreos anymore! (though, little-known fact, they are accidentally vegan. damn those wicked hell-cookies)

Good for you Dana! It's so encouraging when it's starting to show!

The week went by so fast! I'm glad to say that I'm feeling better this week about this. I exercised a bit and hate more fruits and veggies... I'm not guilt-tripping myself into this: I just loaded up my fridge with healthy food. I'm not going to let it all go to waste! And I'm trying to combine stuff I do to relax and routine things with muscle strengthening exercises, like watching tv and triceps dunks and squats or cleaning the dishes and mountain pose (it's actually not that easy for someone always crouching in front of a computer!). I try to take longer walks too, my dog's really happy about this! I need to figure something out for in front of the computer: maybe the big ball you can sit on for core training...

Go IGgy! A bunch of us girls are doing "bridal bootcamp" 3x /wk at the martial arts school, which seems to be going pretty well, but totally fell off the eating clean wagon this week and into a pile of chocolate cupcakes, gummy lifesavers and cherry flavored tootsie rolls. Tonight I'm pickin' myself up, dustin' myself off...and...well, you know the rest of the tune...thanks for inspiration Dana! (p.s...how are you LIVING without CHEEEEEEZE????!!!!!!)

So, after reading your original flab to fab post, I decided to get back onto Weight watchers. I'm in Week 2 now, and while I'm still struggling with things like weekends (which are always crazy and "non-routine", I am definitely getting there and being more conscious about what I am eating.
So thanks for the extra burst of motivation...it's hard, but we'll get there eventually! I need to ramp up on the exercise now. My job is pretty crazy so basically all I get is the walk to the subway!

Oo! Oo! Celebration here! Ran my first 3-mile run EVAAARR this morning. Which is good, because this idiot signed herself up for a 5K awhile back. Except now it's not awhile back anymore, it's this Saturday.

So, go you and go me. We can do this stuff.
