A Bouquet made of Cotton

I have but one thing to say about this. Flowers Schmowers, yo!

Yes, its made of cotton. Cotton, people!

And it couldn’t look more splendid if it were made of clouds.

My mind is flooded with a million ways to use cotton, in all its inexpensive, natural, unexpected glory, for weddings. What would you do with it?

It could probably make some nice center pieces

i agree with carolyn, it would make some nice center pieces, but i think it would also look good as hair decorations for the flower girl and bridesmaid….but thats just me thinking out loud.

Oh my! That bouquet is just gorgeous! I love the hair piece idea, and could see cotton bunched like this used as a cake topper, too.

It actually looks like it is made of clouds! You could carry the theme on in quite a few places, as well as the ideas above I would love to do something with cotton for place markings.

I can't lie….my first thought was "slavery"…perhaps this stems from my career teaching history, from my time as a Sociology undergrad, or perhaps because I am a countrified, white woman marrying a black man in the south.

Cotton is one thing I haven't thought of as a bouquet material. Paper, buttons, whatever…never cotton. I want color in my bouquet so it wouldn't work for me. Plus, looking at it makes me sneeze. It does look soft though.

Wow look how fluffy it is! And you could even dye it different colors or put a rainbow spin on it! I want to see that!
