The tutorial says that she just used a gold wire to wrap the ends up and attach the toggle clasps, but that’s patently untrue, as you can see by the photo. The entire project is pretty self-explanatory aside from how the toggle clasps are attached to the rope, which is glossed over as if we already knew how to make jewelry. I love the necklace, and have tons of big old brooches from my grandma, so I did the research – the photo shows that there are end caps on the rope. On Etsy, query for ‘jewelry end cap’ to locate these things.
