Bling + Fingers = Blingers
Blingers with a hard “g,” that is. I am fo’ sho’ treating myself to a hard-earned mani/pedi once the wedding gets here. I usually wear black nail polish, but I don’t think that color is going to fly with my gown. So I had to look into alternative colors. Colors or designs that looked elegant, but had a lil bit of funk and a whole lotta pop. What I found was a bevvy of blingerific fingernail looks. Here’s the most blingy of the bling:
Or try your hand at the funkiest of the funk:
Or use nail polish as a color pop opp. I am all about 80s neon these days. I found these hot shades and thought they’d look pimp next to a neutral or a brightly colored bouquet:
Wouldn’t these colored nails look amazing with this bouquet:

Neutral nails look beautiful, but neon would have been balls rad too. Bridal Bouquet: Wild Bloom Flowers, Apex Photo By: Azul Photography, Raleigh
Or try on some metal-inspired colors:

Sparkly copper. Doesn't it look fab against those diamonds and crystals? I think this color may be my winner!
How are y’all doing your nails for the wedding? Are you brave enough to rock some “Blingers” on your wedding day?

I'm down with the two-tone. Very fetch.
Which reminds me, I need to go get a mani-pedi this week.
i’m trying to figure out what kinda blingers i’ll be rockin. i always do my own nails. currently Barbie pink with white flowers
I love trying out new colours, but I went with a french manicure for my wedding day. In junior high, I used to delight in one-upping my girlfriends with my nail designs – I remember doing camo, and also cutting out tiny words from magazines and collaging my nails!
I feel like the last image represents not only what I want out of a bridal manicure, but what I want out of life. Metaphorically! I'm not (quite) that materialistic.
I don’t tend to wear bright nail polish too often, so I went bold for the wedding. My only tip is if you do more than a solid color and you’re having it “professionally” done.. make sure you have a technician who actually knows what their doing/is good at it.
I hear the two tone and the last shiny copper ones in a big way! this is some good inspiration!
and I meant "heart". not "hear". Because I'm not sure how you hear nails. Tho I could have said "I hear ya on that two tone hotness!"
Gotta love these looks! Pity my OH hates nailpolish… I love it!
Ladies, it's your wedding day!!! Please spend the money and get your nails done by a professional! You deserve to be pampered and get the Pedi too!
Personally, I believe that for your wedding day you shouldn't try to make a statement. this is the one day that you may want to stay natural (pink & white) or what you do on a normal day to day basis. Do you really want to look back in 25 years at your photos and see that you had neon green nail polish or those hideous fake diamond covered nails?
I would totally look back on my neon crazy nails as AWESOME. Then I'd show my kids how awesome I was with my neon nails and they'd be like, "Yo, mom! You're awesome!"
But that's just me.
