{We’re loving} Creative Save-the-Date Videos
I was stumbling through some ridiculously radical and awesome save the date and unique wedding invitation videos on youtube, and am loving all the clever cuties out there repping their artsy, indie, crafty and cool relationships with videos to match!
Video is a great alternative to regular invitations. You’ll use way less paper, and often spend less because you can do it yourself or get a friend to help out. Lets hear it for a green wedding idea, peeps! Plus you can make a more personal impact on your guests through video and music than with paper and words alone. The sky’s the limit on what you can do! Check out a few of my favorites from today:
This sand animation stop motion is so incredibly unique. (and the unusual music choice makes me love it even more)
Got legos? Put your childhood habit to good use, like these next two videos!
This one had me with the kooky and fun music, but I really love its simple charm.
Have you used video for your save the date or wedding invitation? If so, send ‘em in! We’re always looking for creative, real life inspiration to show off!
Happy Memorial Day!

I loved making ours, it was such a fun project — and so far our guests have loved it, too. Cool to see it becoming a trend!
I love how creative people get – kudos to them!
I agree, the videos are a great alternative to the traditional Save-the-Date cards on paper, and also with even more sentimental value. A great way to stay green and an alternative to the traditional.
[...] know there’s a lot of creative license permitted for Save The Dates. But for invitations? Formal, formal, [...]

These are all very creative. I have to recommend giving this one a watch too(http://vimeo.com/31175466). The couple took a short film approach, black and white, early-60′s inspired and based on a quote from Oscar Wilde. Really impressive acting from non-actors and great camerawork.
