Our wedding date is October 9, 2010. We didn’t choose our date, we chose our venue and then asked what their first available Saturday was from mid-September on…October 9th was the first one. We are not going to sign our marriage certificate until midnight though, so our anniversary will be 10/10/10 (might as well use it, right?)

Our wedding date is June 26, 2010. A fun fact about our wedding… we will be celebrating two things that day. Our marriage and my fiance graduating from college with his first degree! I would love to be entered in this contest! My Fiance and I have been going back and forth about whether or not we can afford a DOC, and this would be such a blessing. Our wedding is June 11, 2011, and we're planning all the details ourselves. We're having the reception in the worship center of my father's church, which has never been used for an event like this before. Figuring out how to run the buffet, as well as how to arrange a church building into a reception hall, is going to require a ton of help, and FI and I don't want to saddle our family members with too much responsibility– they should enjoy the day, too! One "fun fact" about our wedding is this: because we are both musicians, we are arranging some of our favorite musical pieces and songs for string quartet. We plan to open with some classical music, and our recessional will be "Happy Together," by The Turtles– and our first dance will be to Cake's cover of the 50s song "Strangers in the Night." Also, instead of having a ceremony dress and a reception dress, as some brides do, I'm having my dress made so that the bottom 12 inches or so are removable so it turns into a shorter dress for the reception!

hmmm our fun fact is we are not doing most of the traditional stuff, everything is unique to us from our readings, decorations, unity sand and DARK purple and black colors. we are paying for most of our wedding ourselves so any help is ALWAYS appreciated for our 5/30/10 wedding…Thanks for the great ideas

We're getting married on August 21st in Philadelphia, where we live. We're having an ice cream truck, antique cotton candy machine, dancing the foxtrot, homebrewing the beer, chowing down on BBQ, including our 3 dogs, and DIYing essentially everything. A DOC would help put all of our ideas into a more organized fashion!

Our wedding date is June 12, 2010. This day was chosen by my future husband, because this is his father's birthday. We both lost our fathers at an early age and we recently found out that our dads were friends. How ironic? We met over 5 years ago on a Saturday by Thursday his was my boyfriend and now he is about to be my partner in life. He asked me to be his wife on November 3, 2009, and wants to plan a super wedding in 8 months. However, cash flow has stop and were justing getting started. We need you DOC. HELP.
