I feel like I’ve had a bit of Debbie Downer-itis lately…. constantly bemoaning our nonexistent employment status and frustration. But a new dawn is on the horizon, folks!

That’s right, I am a working girl again! I got a last-minute replacement gig temping at a local nonprofit as an executive assistant. The best part is that its open-ended with potential to become permanent, so I get to try it on for size and see how it fits! Its only 10 minutes from my house, which is amazing by LA standards. So far its going great!

I can’t say what a relief it is to have reliable income again, and to not spend my day sending resumes into the ether, hoping for a call. Those of you who are still struggling for stability – know that it may take time, but it will come!

Thanks for your support through this “down” time. Now I can redirect my focus back to wedding planning and blogging – so get ready for loads of goodness!
