So shoe me.

These are my new dream shoes. I’ve been feeling a bit like Cinderella lately – unable to find the right fit… both in terms of style and level of funk. But then I saw these, and honestly, I don’t care if I lose a toe in these – I just love them so much.

I can’t tell who makes them but I’m on the hunt. Anyone recognize that label?

Update: Thanks to reader triciaj, I can report that these are Prada’s Satin D’Orsay pumps.

Of course they are. Only a broke-ass bride would fall in love with $560 shoes. Curses.

Oh well, back to the drawing board….Dana

Have you checked any of these brands? They do similar stuff – cute, but a little off kilter (in a good way.) ;)

I’m not stalking you, I just really love shoes and love to help.

You are most welcome to stalk me, especially if you keep leaving wee tidbits of inspiration in your wake! Thank you!

Oh! And how could I forget, Chinese Laundry. I got my wedding shoes (and all my BM's shoes) for $20 a pop, and they're comfy.

I don't suppose your colors are pink and red, are they?

Cute! You’re awesome. Thanks so much!

Technically, my colors are peacock blue, purple, fuschia and orange (with some burgundy and gold thrown in for good measure!)

Crazy idea – what about having a couple of rosette's made for you (etsy.com or something) and clip them to a pair of d'orsay shoes? Then you could get any color rose you want…

(I don't know how crafty you are, but they aren't terribly hard to make yourself either.)

Alright, screw the original plan – will YOU marry me?
Brilliant idea – I will let you know how the plans hatch. A million thanks!

eek, why have I never seen your blog before! whee!!!

btw, my colors are purple, teal, and red… but the reception is going to be one giant color[fest]. I think we’re going for a similar vibe. :-)

Want a fix for craving $500 shoes? Order them from Zappos, free overnight shipping. Wake up, get all ready as if for a night on the town and DING DONG! when they arrive, prance around in them for an hour. Make sure to exult in how good you look at them.

Then pack them up and ship them back. That last part is important.

Thanks for showing so much love for my shoes! I saw your comment on Leigh's blog and thought I'd hop over here. They are indeed Prada and they are sold out in this color combo. There are a few pairs in champaign (which is really pretty on) and black in limited sizes on sale at:

    and a slightly different style:

    Hi there,

I didn’t know how else to contact you, but I just found your blog today via tenthousandonly and while flicking through your posts, noticed your interest in moroccan vibes. I came across this Indian company recently that do invitations and thought you may be interested.

Someone from a forum I’m a member of used this company and recommended them as they have beautiful invites and really cheap. Sure, a lot of them are meant to be religious, but you don’t have to use those ones.

    Anyway, here’s the link: http://www.regalcards.com/
The girl that posted about them got her invites for $AUD250 all up including fedex delivery for I think 90 invitations.

    Hope you like them x

Wow girls – thanks for all the help!
@Ellie – I LOVE that idea. All the gratification with none of the guilt!

@Lu Lu – thanks so much! You’re so sweet. Congrats on such a gorgeous wedding!

@EastSide Bride – As a fellow east-sider (Silver lake Represent!) I’m so happy to have you! I heart your blog too.

    @Pauline – Thanks – I’ll check it out!
    xoxo

Oh I adore. I wore these exact shoes to my Feb 2008 wedding. They were worth every penny. You know the ivory satin ones are on sale now at Bergdorf Goodman. You can get them professionally dyed. I have a post about dying designer shoes here
